Our People - The Dominion Tax Staff

Our employee's provide the service that makes us stand out amongst our peers. We are grateful for their hard work, good humour, loyalty and commitment to excellence.

  Rodney Steiman is the President of Dominion Accounting and Tax Service. Rodney has created a workplace where people want to be, offer the kind of service that we and our clients feel good about. As a result Dominion has many long-term, loyal employees as well as a growing number of clients.
  Pauline Wood-Steiman is the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. Pauline is proud to be a member of the St. Theresa Point First Nation and speaks several Aboriginal languages including Cree, Ojibway and Oji-Cree. Pauline's specific responsibilty is to promote our services to Aboriginal Peoples living on northern reserve communities which she regularly visits. Pauline also represents and promotes the company at the many community and charitable activities we support.
  Josie Mendoza is our Director of Refund Services. Josie came to Canada from the Philippines to begin a new life and began her career with Dominion in 1990. Josie is a devoted wife and mother and the same care she shows to her family she demonstrates when she works with her clients. Josie directs and shares her expertise with staff to ensure we maintain our standard of service.
  Cathy Foley is our Director of Client Records and our longest serving employee. She has been a valued member of the Dominion team since 1988. Cathy's hard work ensures that all refund cheques are prepared in a timely manner for clients. Cathy helps the rest of us to be organized, and ensures that all of our data is securely stored but quickly retrievable. Cathy shares a wonderful bond with her daughter, cares deeply about the welfare of animals and ensures "Abby" the office mascot (the canine variety) is always well treated.
  Larry Brazeau started with Dominion Tax in 1993. Larry has a loyal following of clients that ask for him when they come in. We know that his tax preparation skills have something to do with it but we suspect his ability to share a good joke is another! Larry ensures our office "joke book" is forever changing and his bannock making skills are appreciated by his co workers!
  Rosela Francisco has been a part of our team since 1992. As the Executive Assistant, she provides the structure for our administrative functions so information keeps flowing With Rosela's organization skills she provides for a calm atmosphere, enhanced by her quick wit in the office. Rosela emigrated from the Philippines and loves to share her culture with her co workers. She is married and has a grown daughter.
  Barb Towegejick has been working with Dominion Tax since 1994. Barb uses her knowledge and skills to ensure the client has the best outcome possible. During the busy tax season her "lets just get it done attitude" is invaluable. At home, Barb is a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
  Pat Mason started her career with Dominion in 1999 as our receptionist and became a valued member of the team. Fortunately for us Pat decided to learn about tax preparation and many of our clients have come to rely on her services. Pat is friendly, quick to laugh and has the ability to put people at ease. Pat is a proud, supportive mother of three.
  Mayumi Panelo is one of our Client Contact Specialist and will be a familiar name to many of our Nunavut clients. "Friendly and kind" describes Mayumi's personality; "competent and helpful" describes her work. Mayumi is a wife and mother who loves to spend time with her family. Luckily for her she gets to work with her sister Divina at Dominion.
  Divina Aguila is another of our Client Contact Specialists and many of our clients will have had contact with her over the telephone. Divina enjoys her work and comes in each day ready to do what needs to be done to provide excellent customer service. Divina is married with a growing family.
  Ann Maxwell is our receptionist and often is the first contact our clients have. Ann enjoys her contact with clients; she loves to share a story or a laugh and looks forward to helping in whatever way she can. Ann is married and has two grown children of whom she is very proud.

"Abby" arrives at work each day with great enthusiasm! She likes to have fresh water available and loves to spend time walking with Cathy in the neighborhood. Abby has not learned how to do taxes but she is excellent at getting people to give her belly rubs.
